Jane Says
Couple weeks ago I got to see Jane’s Addiction perform at the Roxy as part of the Bing Sunset Strip Summer Concert Series. I heard Smashing Pumpkins did the Viper Room the night before, sorry I missed that! Everyone in attendance was either a sweepstakes winner or a lucky f*ck! I won’t say how I got in, shoutout to Nick Adler! I’ve been a long time fan, its’ dope to see these guys are still on stage and the fans still passionate. Third time I catch these guys in an intimate setting, I was at the Echoplex & the El Cid shows earlier this year (maybe last year, what day is this?).

You can see from the set-list, they covered all the classics! ”3-days” was amazing, “Whores” ALWAYS KILLS and I was (secretly) glad they skipped “Superhero.” They busted the alternate take of “Jane Says” that was a treat.
They went w/ their staple Santeria aesthetic complete w/ candles, incense, christmas lights & Milagrosas.
The girl on the left wasn’t levitating, she’s a Suspension Artist swinging from her back-piercings. Always some shock value.
Perry Farell gets younger, while the rest of us get older.
