The line to get in ran from Spaulding to Stanley as Gallery goers anticipated the unveiling. Pieces were a combination of Fern’s Cartoon Characters “painted” over Anthony’s Original Photos. The Cartoon Characters seemed to interract with the object from the photograph, a nice slant on conventional photography methods. One series in particular depicted a White Tiger peeking from behind the model’s shoulder as she lights a blunt. Mo’ was flowing for the champagners, wine for the winos… I of course smuggled in some of my private-select beer (we hood like that).
